What Is a Challenge

In the shortest, it is something you must struggle with, usually called a "problem." However, problems assume helplessness and being overwhelmed while the term "challenge" is taken directly and, therefore, you are in charge of changing something.

What Kind of Life Challenge Can You Meet?

From a holistic point of view, you can face challenges in all four aspects of life: the body, mind soul and emotions. Let me give you some examples of each of them:

  • Body - illness, tiredness, growing old, physical strain and pressure.

  • Mind - negative thinking (especially worry, fears and rumination), mind control attacks.

  • Emotions - negative emotions, being heartbroken, depression.

  • Spirit - negative energy attacks (i.e. vampires, hooks, cords, other beings, e.g. demons), difficult spiritual life lessons, negative karma.

Also, you can also face a challenge in these areas of life:

  • Sharing and giving - unemployment, ungrateful people.

  • Fun - being overworked

  • skills - having difficulty with learning something, lack of finance.

These are not all the challenges that you can meet in your life but even those mentioned above can be absorbing enough to take a lifetime to overcome.

Top 10 Powerful Questions to Face Any Life Challenge

Why only ten? Because they are enough to disarm any challenge. The asking of compelling questions can give you a new perspective on your challenges. Now let's do a simple exercise.

You will examine your current challenge. Look at the examples in all four aspects of life and pick one challenge which bothers you the most. Once you have chosen your challenge, ask these questions, which may be difficult to answer at first.

Important: It is recommended to answer these questions in writing so that you can analyse the discoveries later and see how much progress you have made. Prepare and regularly use the diary or journal for that purpose.

1. What is good in this situation?

Answering this question will help you to focus on the positive side of your challenge. Nothing is only negative and, especially in the long run, you will find some cons of the situation. Write them down.

2. What can I do to turn that situation around?

If you are not sure what to do in the case of your challenge, the second question will ease the difficulty because you will start focusing on acting instead of dwelling on how bad your situation is. In this way, you feel in control and gain more confidence.

Think about what action you can take to succeed. Having set your goals and defined an action plan, you probably have gotten your answers ready. List three of them below. But for now, brainstorm a minimum of ten possible ways of overcoming your challenge

3. What can I stop doing to turn that situation around?

Sometimes your action may cause more problems, often connected with those which you are just solving. For example, going to bed late while you are supposed to get up early will cause tiredness and poor concentration.

When you stop going to bed late the problem will be solved. In this case, you may need to create a new habit. More about habits later on my blog.

4. What can I do differently to turn that situation around?

Write an alternative scenario, where you stop doing harmful things and start doing something more beneficial.

In the above example, you must just go to bed earlier. If you go to sleep late because of still busy, then think of changes in your time management. Treat going to bed early as an activity that is important and cannot be neglected because otherwise, the consequences will be severe.

5. Have I missed considering any solution?

Check once again all the options. You may notice that there is still at least one option which can be used to overcome your challenge.

What is more, this option may be crucial for solving the problem. Now think for a while and brainstorm additional options which will help you resolve the problem. Write three of them down.

6. What action was taken that could give the simplest and the fastest result?

You already know what to do, what not to do and what to do differently to achieve the desired effect. Now think about which actions you will take first to achieve your goal faster and easier.

7. Who can help me?

In most cases, you will need someone to help you. There might be your family, friends and other people. From a holistic point of view, you can also ask the Universe and other civilisations to give you inspiration and send helpful energy.

8. What kind of life lessons can I learn from this situation?

Every challenge brings a lesson to learn. If you get tired because of staying up all night, the lesson is ‘to go to bed earlier. Define the experience from your current challenge.

If it is difficult, think about why you are facing the obstacles (especially the internal ones) while working on your goals. For example, negative thinking causes anxiety and stops you from taking opportunities in your life.

Therefore, the lesson which you learn here is ‘stop negative thinking.

9. What will I gain by overcoming this challenge?

This question is right in the case of procrastination. Now look at your challenge and list the advantages of taking it. List the biggest benefit you will have while acting. Also, check what you will lose not facing your challenge.

10. What can I do right now to overcome the challenge?

Think of one small step which you will take immediately and act. Remember that nothing will change if you stay passive and ruminate over your challenge. In the case of going to bed early, in the evening prepare your bed. Start visualising going to bed as a ritual charging you with positive energy.

What If I Have Difficulty Answering Questions?

It often happens that answering the questions can be a challenge itself. Fortunately, you can use the following ways to overcome the difficulty:

  • Decide if you wish to overcome the challenge. Your mental attitude has tremendous meaning in the process described today. If you do not want to take the challenge, that is fine. Take your time.

  • Check them once again. There are only ten questions, and you can start from the fifth of the second one if you wish. Answering only one will instantly give you a new perspective but working on all ten will help you to overcome the challenge.

  • Brainstorm. Write down your spontaneous answers without analysing them, a minimum of five and ideally ten or even twenty. Then you can pick up the one which is possible for instant implementation.

  • Find more information about each type of challenge. here is the list of articles that you can read

Meditate

I have mentioned it many times that meditation is a great way of solving your problems - overcoming your challenges. Ask any of the questions and during meditation, you will find answers from your soul and subconscious mind.
