Is The New Life Chapter Necessary for Happiness?

I will be writing about a new chapter concerning your relationships, not only these intimate ones. It will also concern situations, like staying in each job or place.

Because of the Universal Law of Change, nothing is constant. It concerns your relationship, job, lease agreement, children, or appearance. What you have today will be outdated tomorrow.

If you can accept change instead of tossing with being in the past and the future at the same time, your life will be blissful. If not… it will be painful. is it worth trouble sticking to pain while you can be happy?

13 Ways to Start a New Life Chapter

You already know that changes are inevitable. But sometimes they are a must. In general, in the case when your life brings you mostly pain, the question is how to make changes, how to start this new chapter? You can use the following ways:

  • totally close to an old chapter, burning all bridges

  • leave an option of returning to the old story

Unfortunately, the truth is brutal. You will not start a new chapter in your life without burning all bridges, and closing the door. Just accept this situation as otherwise, it will bounce back like a boomerang.

When To Start a New Life Chapter

I will describe thirteen obvious cases when starting a new life chapter is a must. They all have one thing in common: you are unhappy, and it is chronic.

1. Your Relationship Is Over

You need two to tango. If only one person wants to grow and the other one stops him/her from this process, there is no point in maintaining the relationship.

You will not force your partner to change your mind. At least it is not advisable to use manipulation here. if one person leaves, you need to face the brutal fact.

A period of emotional bereavement is ahead, it will not be easy or pleasant, but the quicker you close this chapter the better.

2. "The Prey of An Emotional Vampire" Life Chapter

I know that it is easier said than done because sometimes the emotional vampire is a member of your family. However, even then you are not obliged to stick to the relationship with him or her.

You cannot allow a destructive person to exploit your energy but, take care of yourself as no one else will do it. Therefore, cross out all the toxic people from your life, even your father or sister.

You can forgive them but cut off direct contact and communicate your decision.

3. Someone Limits Your Freedom

I do not mean doing everything you want. Killing someone or calling names is a no-no. However, you can have your own way of spending leisure time or cooking.

The red light turns on when someone imprisons you by dictating what to do, commenting on your quirks and daily routine or deciding if you can meet your friends. Then the time has come to end this chapter of life.

4. The "Deceit" Life Chapter

It does not concern intimate relationships only. We also include financial scams (or debts) or hiding some important details from your personal life, having an impact on your relationship (e.g., having children) here.

Trust is the bedrock of any relationship and deceit means troubles in the future. Never stay with someone who lies, or twists the truth. Never have compassion for him/her. Your happiness is not worth the trouble here. Close this chapter immediately.

5. If You Are Not Treated as The Priority

It is not egoism, but rather commitment. If someone does not put 100% into the relationship, he/she is not committed. You cannot be the "plan B" for this person, especially if children are involved.

So often, during quality time, he or she is still bothered with their phone, texting or answering calls. This is only one example of ignoring the other person.

The same concerns perfunctory treatment and not listening during a conversation. In the cases listed above, conduct a serious talk and if it does not help, end this chapter of your life. Stop wasting your energy on frustration and unhappiness.

6. "The "Hell" Life Chapter

It is very easy to entangle in a relationship that then becomes hell for you. Your partner may have a goal of destroying you - financially, emotionally, and even physically.

Such people exploit their partners, and use deception (described above) but also direct methods of destruction, like bullying, emotional blackmail, guilt manipulation, and name-calling. They may also isolate you from your sources of support, e.g., friends.

And the hell may be introduced gradually, in an invisible way. Suddenly you wake up without freedom abused and even robbed of your wealth. Have the courage to change your life.

7. When Someone Constantly Needs Your Care

I do not mean taking care of an ill or elderly person here. It rather concerns someone who cannot take responsibility for their life. Such people will put pressure on you, reasoning that they cannot cope with their problems without your help.

You are both tied with the chain, with no space for each other, no space for individuality. Relationships of addictive co-dependence involve your constant focus on the partner's problems, doing favours for them.

Any encouragement to independent acting means that you take a couple of steps backwards, being blackmailed with mental disorders, like suicidal threats.

Your sanity is in danger then, too. You must close this chapter, otherwise it is a straight highway to physical, emotional, and spiritual hell.

8. The "Violence of Any Kind" Life Chapter

No compromise here. Any kind of violence is a no-no in our life.

So, name-calling, labelling, any type of emotional manipulation and blackmail is the reason for ending the current chapter of life. Physical abuse is a must for moving on. Burn your old bridges and move on.

9. When You Have to Hide Your True Self

We should be authentic and act according to our views and life values. It also considers freedom of speech and expressing your opinions. However, if you do not follow the herd and think independently, your family, friends, and the community will try to shut you down.

Sometimes you also put on a mask to avoid violence and any kind of trauma.

However, acting in this way, you gradually lose your life purpose and your own self. Then you are just the tool used by society, religion, state, and your family to meet their needs.

You forget about being the wonder of the Universe. The time has come to end this chapter of life and start an authentic life. You cannot be punished just for having a different opinion than someone else.

10. When Someone Wants to Change You

... and stop from achieving your personal goals, your life mission by "good intentions".

A person presenting such an attitude is not interested in your growth and positive transformation, he/she wants to stop it because of possessiveness or of the fear of being someone worse than you.

He/she intends to keep you the same as you are, and any attempts of your change are fiercely destroyed.

Stop this and burn the bridge connecting you with him/her. Your growth is more important because it will be you, not them, who will have to report how well homework of this life has been done.

11. The "It Is Not Your Place Here" Life Chapter

It means that you feel as in the waiting room, expecting something. But what? You have no idea about it but know for sure that the present situation is not right for you because your heart does not follow your current life.

For example, your current relationship or job does not give you satisfaction anymore. Relations with children and friends have deteriorated and you feel alone. Then the time has come to start a new chapter - change your job and relationships of any kind.

12. Feeling That Your Energy Is Leaking or Your Batteries Are Discharged

This reason is closely connected to the previous one, the consequences of sticking in an unwanted job or a relationship.

You are wasting your precious energy on solving conflicts, forcing yourself to like something which has just finished.

You cannot run a car without petrol. And sometimes the petrol of enthusiasm and commitment is not available anymore at your work or relationship. Stop the leak, and move on.

13. Inner Urge to Close This Life Chapter

It is a good sign. You just cannot stand the current status quo anymore. However, then you need to act. It does not have to be spectacular but take the first step.

Detach from the old energy, cut the cords keeping you in the old state and burn the bridges. Sit down and set goals concerning your change.

If any of the cases described above fits the bill, think if you are ready for a big change in your life.

Accept that the ending chapter has had to happen to teach you some life lessons and the opportunity to do homework but now you are promoted to the new class at school, where new skills (i.e., the values of the light) are waiting to be mastered.
